Providing an invaluable service through the hospice at home. Supporting the patient aswell as the family.
Improvement:
Keep the family clearly informed about the level of support which can be given at all times.
My husband was looked after very well indeed. I found the staff very caring, sympathetic and very dedicated.
The environment was as happy a place as it could be in the circumstances and everyone was so courteous.
The only criticism would be that my husband, David Hails died 19 weeks ago, and I feel this from my opinion of the series offered to him should have been asked as soon as he left your care.
Dealt with compassion. Felt included and cared for. Able to talk things over especially my problems, so that I felt a lot calmer about the outcome of my illness.
I saw Gloria for some help with bereavement and I thought her level of involvement/ conversation was about right for me. She was a good listener as well.
Car parking is not always easy.
Collette has being seeing me and she has been brilliant and lovely to talk to and very helpful. The service has been very good and I couldn't see anything to improve as she has been so good.
I felt safe and that my needs were listened to with care and wisdom. There was no pressure in decisions made and the choice was mine. It was very helpful at my time of need.
Thank you.
Everything has been good - perfect caring.
Nothing that could be improve.
Only thing that could be improved is when in double room to be taken to another protected space for confidential conversation with doctor. Found recent discussion with doctor difficult as knew other person in room could overhear.
Couldn't ask for more.
